Job summary

Achieve Group Recruitment in Townsville seeks an Electrical Mechanical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems such as street lighting and traffic signals. The role features a 9-day fortnight and occasional travel, with overtime paid weekly and a temporary contract with potential to go permanent.

You will respond to service requests and emergencies, ensure compliance with safety and industry standards, and travel to sites across Queensland as needed.

Qualifications

• Electrical Work License is mandatory.
• CPR and Rescue from a live LV Panel certifications.
• White Card for construction sites.
• Valid Australian C Class driver’s license.
• Willingness to undergo medical and drug testing pre-employment.
• Flexibility for occasional out-of-town travel.

Join our team in Townsville as an Electrical Mechanical Technician! This role offers a 9-day fortnight, with occasional travel required out of town. What you’ll be doing:

• Occasionally traveling to different sites within Queensland as needed

What you need:

• An Electrical Work License (mandatory)
• CPR and Rescue from a live LV Panel certifications
• White Card for construction sites

Nice-to-have skills:

• Queensland MR driver’s license or similar
• Open Cabler registration with endorsements in structured cabling, optical fibre, and coaxial
• EWP competency for platforms over 11m
