Job summary

ACHIEVE Group in Townsville is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems including street lighting and traffic signals. The role requires quick response to service requests and emergencies, with a strong focus on safety compliance.

You'll travel occasionally to sites across Queensland. The position starts temporary with the possibility to become permanent, and offers overtime opportunities paid weekly, with a 9-day fortnight

Qualifications

• Electrical Work License is mandatory.
• CPR and Rescue from a live LV Panel certifications required.
• White Card for construction sites required.
• Valid Australian C Class driver’s license.
• Willingness to undergo medical and drug testing pre-employment.
• Flexibility for occasional out-of-town travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems such as street lighting and traffic signals.
• Respond to service requests and emergency calls promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Travel to different sites within Queensland as needed.
