Job summary

Dematic in Warwick, QLD, Australia, is seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical aptitude for a hands-on role in automation and robotics. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on complex systems, troubleshoot issues, and work on a rotating two-week schedule (Day and Afternoon shifts with 15% loading).

Having a Cert III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or Electrotechnology Electrician, or an unrestricted Electrical Licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Qualification is a MUST – Cert III Engineering Mechanical Trade OR Cert III Electrotechnology Electrician OR Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with previous maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, automation, or related controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on automated systems.
• Support shift rotations and work across day and afternoon shifts with a 15% loading.
• Participate in training on PLC, Siemens S7, and SCADA to upskill and ensure safe operations.
