Job summary

Inghams Enterprises in Murarrie, QLD is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electricians and apprentices in our maintenance team at the Primary Processing Facility. You will identify electrical issues, drive preventative maintenance, and ensure maximum uptime for manufacturing equipment.

This hands-on leadership role operates Monday to Friday, reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have current electrical licence.
• Experience leading teams in a maintenance environment.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and develop electricians and apprentices.
• Lead fault finding and diagnosis of electrical issues.
• Ensure safety and quality practices are followed in all repairs and maintenance.
• Manage corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Drive asset management standards and robust maintenance.
• Execute maintenance plan with timely deadlines and resource allocation.
• Analyze KPIs to drive reliability improvements.
• Contribute to capital planning and identify improvement areas.
• Hold teams accountable for outcomes and performance.
• Communicate and involve workforce to uphold high safety standards.
• Define targets, monitor performance related to food safety and procedures.

Your opportunity to join our team

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electricians and apprentices within our maintenance team at Inghams Primary Processing Facility in Murarrie, QLD.

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for identifying electrical issues, potential failures and provide preventative maintenance to the site's manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and prolonged reliability.

This is a hands-on leadership role, Monday to Friday.

What you’ll do:

• Mentor, coach, and develop a dedicated team of electricians and apprentices
• Lead fault finding and diagnosis
• Ensure the execution of safety and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activities and manage corrective actions in a timely manner
• Hold team members accountable when they fail to meet QHSE practices
• Drive Inghams way asset management standards by implementing robust maintenance standards
• Execute the maintenance plan with ongoing measurement of performance, achievement of scheduled deadlines, and allocating resources appropriately
• Implementation of reliability improvement strategies and practices through the analysis of key performance indicators
• Contribute to the capital planning process by identifying areas where improvements can be made
• Hold section/teams accountable for achieving expected outcomes, delivering section goals and results
• Manage team to meet expected performance using coaching, delegation, and recognition
• Openly communicate and involve theentire workforce to set high safety standards and confront risks
• Define team targets, monitor performance, andfood safety, and comply with Inghamsminimum standard procedures

What you’ll bring:

• Current Electrical licence
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering, or Trade Qualified (desirable)
• Experience leading teams in a similar maintenance environment.
• Keen ability for problem solving and a strong commitment to driving process improvements and best practices.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and process control instrumentation
