Job summary

Ventia is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation tradesperson to deliver work orders across water network assets, including fault finding, condition assessment and renewal of instrumentation equipment. The role supports assets in the Central Region (Mount Crosby, Lockyer Valley, Somerset South).

Responsibilities include completing E&I tasks, data recording in CMMS, and ensuring safety compliance. A medical and police check are required during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical & Instrument technician in calibration, fault-finding and instrumentation renewal.
• Cert IV or III in Instrumentation is required.
• Driver's licence and current electrical licence with CPR are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver E&I work orders from maintenance plan.
• Perform electrical and instrumentation tasks including pressure measurements and water monitoring equipment.
• Document work progression in CMMS and report on planned vs completed activities.
• Travel to assets across the network and attend pre-start meetings as required.
• Ensure safety, compliance and adherence to policies and procedures.
