Job summary

Ventia is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation tradesperson to deliver work orders across assets, including fault finding and renewal of instrumentation. The role supports the Central Region (Mount Crosby, Lockyer Valley, Somerset South) with 40-hour weeks and on-call allowances.

You will perform E&I tasks, travel to sites, document progress in CMMS, and maintain safety standards. Applicants should bring relevant experience in water/oil & gas or processing plants, an instrumentation cert,

Qualifications

• Experience in Water, Oil & Gas, processing plant or equivalent industries.
• Experience as an Electrical & Instrument technician in calibration, pressure testing and flow metres.
• Cert IV or III in Instrumentation.
• Drivers licence.
• Electrical licence with current LVR CPR.
• Desirable tickets or willingness to obtain (hazardous areas, first aid, confined space, working at heights, gas test atmosphere).

Responsibilities

• Perform and deliver allocated E&I work orders from maintenance plan.
• Deliver electrical and instrumentation tasks including fluid flow, pressure measurements and water monitoring equipment.
• Document work progression in CMMS.
• Travel to assets across the network and attend pre-start meetings.
• Adhere to safety, compliance, policy and procedures.
• Report planned/ completed work, risks and issues and support process improvements.
