Job summary

PHE Power & Infrastructure is seeking a qualified Electrician or Instrumentation Technician for their Tumut site, offering a permanent role with Monday–Friday, 9-hour days. Overtime and on-call on a 7-week roster, with upskilling opportunities in Instrumentation.

Role based at Visy’s pulp and paper mill in Tumut, NSW, requiring relocation if needed. NSW Electrical license and related qualifications are essential; training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical License and high-risk work qualifications required; CPR/LVR and a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Certificate III in Instrumentation is desirable; training offered for right candidate.
• Confined Space qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• HV, HA, Automation, Minor Projects and Maintenance activities within the manufacturing plant.

Education

NSW Electrical License, High-risk work License with WP Class, Working at Heights, CPR/LVR, Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License, White Construction Card
