Evolution Mining is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to maintain Ernest Henry’s concentrator and processing infrastructure.

Join a high-performing Mill Maintenance team and apply your electrical and instrumentation expertise across preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance, HV infrastructure, calibration, and shutdown support.

Live in Cloncurry or opt for FIFO with an 8/6/7/7 roster; enjoy modern facilities and strong career growth opportunities.

Competenze

• Electrical Trade Qualification and current Electrical Licence.
• Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control or equivalent.
• Experience mining, mineral processing, heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of DCS, process measurement equipment and instrumentation calibration.
• Current HV Switching competency or the ability to obtain.
• Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting and communication skills.

• Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance across concentrator electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, process measurement equipment and control systems to maximise plant reliability.

What’s the opportunity?

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of Ernest Henry’s concentrator and processing infrastructure.

Working as part of a high-performing Mill Maintenance team, you’ll apply your electrical and instrumentation expertise across preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities. From HV infrastructure and process measurement instrumentation through to control systems, calibration and shutdown execution, you’ll help maximise plant reliability and support safe, efficient production outcomes.

This is an opportunity for a technically capable tradesperson who enjoys solving complex problems, working with modern processing technology and contributing to the performance of a world-class operation.

In this role, you’ll:

• Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance across concentrator electrical and instrumentation systems


• Troubleshoot electrical faults, process measurement equipment and control systems to maximise plant reliability


• Install, inspect, maintain and calibrate instrumentation including pressure, flow, level, temperature and density devices
