Job summary

APA Group invites applications for an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Apprenticeship in Young, NSW. This full-time, permanent opportunity offers hands-on training while you complete a national Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and Instrumentation, with all training and equipment provided.

The 4–6 year apprenticeship supports graduates from the local area to gain practical skills on energy infrastructure, with mentorship from experienced technicians and travel expenses

Qualifications

• Nationally recognised Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, and Instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance, inspections and repairs across the Young region.
• Learn to service, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Support electrical and instrumentation work under the guidance of qualified team members.
• Monitor the performance and operation of critical assets through routine inspections.
