Job summary

Amp Recruitment is partnering with established electrical contractors across South East Queensland seeking experienced Electrical Foremen / Supervisors to lead commercial construction projects. Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices, coordinate daily site operations, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

This hands-on leadership role offers exposure to warehouses, schools, retail centres and large-scale developments with strong project pipelines and ongoing career

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical Foreman/Leading Hand on commercial construction.
• Experience across warehouses, schools, retail or similar developments.
• Ability to manage site teams and coordinate multiple fronts.
• Confident interpreting electrical drawings and programmes.
• Current QLD Electrical Licence, White Card and safety certifications.
• Hands-on, proactive approach to solving problems and delivering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on commercial sites.
• Coordinate daily site activities, labour allocation and programmes.
• Manage electrical installations from undergrounds to commissioning.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, builders and other trades.
• Interpret construction drawings and oversee installation quality.
• Maintain site safety, productivity and deadlines.
• Identify potential variations and report progress.
