Job summary

Sabre Electrical Industries in Brisbane is seeking a casual shift maintenance technician with packaging and process automation experience. Australian Electrical License required; non-licence holders and contractors license holders are excluded.

The role offers casual rates and optional travel-related bonuses for shift coverage. Responsibilities include fault-finding on complex automated circuits, reading circuit drawings, and applying IO to drawings with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have Packaging and Process Factory (or Similar Automation) Maintenance experience.
• Australian Electrical License holders only.
• Ability to read circuit drawings and fault-find on complex automated circuits.
• PLC, Panel view /HMI experience, able to read IO and apply to drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on packaging and process automation lines in Brisbane area.
• Work with shift team to cover casual shifts and respond to faults.
• Read and interpret circuit drawings and IO logic; operate testing equipment proficiently.
• Maintain presentable, fit and reliable work standard and collaborate well with others.

Job description

Required for Casual shift position in Brisbane area within the Food, Process Automation industries.

*Must have Packaging and Process Factory (or Similar Automation) Maintenance experience . (Australian Electrical License holders only)

*No Contractors License Holders need apply

Casual Rates

$58.85 per/hr + applicable Shift allow. and O/T

Plus Travel bonus per day of 1 hour at rate of shift covered for that day

Job Requirements.

Australian Electrical License

Food industry experience would be an advantage

Ability to work shift.Experience with fault finding on complex automated circuits.( able to use Testing equipment proficiently)

Must be Presentable, Fit and Reliable

Confined Space and Working at Height tickets would be an advantage

Able to read circuit drawings.

**PLC, Panel view /HMI experience, able to read IO and apply to drawingsetc

Carry out tasks with minimal supervision

Have sound Computer skills

Ability to work well with others

Able to work at short notice

*This position would suitthose wanting Casual Employment. We also have positions available that would suit people with a 2 week on2 week off roster or something similar that wants extra work and iswilling to work on days off.

Sabre Electrical Industries supplies qualified tradespeople to a number of Food Processing and Manufacturing companies in Brisbane and the Gold Coast for shift cover and installation.

We have need for additional tradespeople due to recent increase in work load
