Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to guide installation and repair work.
• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations to identify faults or maintenance needs.
• Test electrical systems and components using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work, materials used, and time spent on projects.
• Comply with health and safety regulations, including PPE usage.
• Communicate progress and technical matters with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and extend lifespan.
• Basic mechanical work building gas trains may be required.

As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements, whilst contributing to the continued success and reputation of AllControls within the trades and services industry.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with relevant codes and standards
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to guide installation and repair work
• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations to identify faults, defects, or areas requiring maintenance
• Test electrical systems and components using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on projects
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients regarding project progress and technical matters
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimise equipment downtime and extend system lifespan
• This could also include some basic mechanical work building gas trains.
