Job summary

Quad Switchboards, part of Gosling Group, is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join our workshop team in Coffs Harbour on a full-time or part-time basis. Reporting to the Quad Manager, you'll build switchboards from drawings through to the finished product.

This role requires Cert III in Electrotechnology and/or Cert III Electrical Fitting, SafeWork NSW White Card, hands-on switchboard wiring experience, and knowledge of relevant standards. You must hold a valid driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Electrotechnology and/or Cert III Electrical Fitting is required.
• SafeWork NSW White card is required.
• Hands-on switchboard wiring experience required.
• Knowledge of AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000 and NSW Service and Installation Rules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wire, assemble and fit out switchboards in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and the NSW Service and Installation Rules.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet company and client standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and complete required documentation to protect health and safety.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Cert III in Electrotechnology and/or Cert III Electrical Fitting (required)
• SafeWork NSW White card (required)
• Demonstrated hands-on switchboard wiring experience
• Previous experience with Schneider/NHP switchgear (highly preferred)
• Knowledge of AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000 and the NSW Service and Installation Rules
• Ability to interpret single line diagrams, control schematics and technical specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to follow direction and work independently
• Organised, proactive and able to manage your time to meet deadlines
• Must hold a valid driver's license
