Job summary

TOMRA is hiring an Electrical Field Technician to maintain and repair Reverse Vending Machines and bulk processing equipment across Sydney’s South East/South West Metro areas. You will travel daily, with a rotating 7-day roster that includes weekends and overnight travel, reporting faults and ensuring high-quality service.

The role requires Factory- or site-based electrical/electronic trade experience, strong diagnostics, and a customer-facing mindset.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrical/Electronic Trade or equivalent
• Experience with operating systems, software installation, networking, and mobile telecommunications
• Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and replace circuit boards, sensors, and electronic components
• Customer-facing experience
• Unrestricted driver’s license and willingness to provide driving history
• Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and overnight travel

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining installed equipment
• Reporting on service assignments and faults
• Installing kiosks and bulk processing systems at new sites
• Providing excellent customer service to partners and the public
• Identifying and reporting product improvement opportunities
• Performing routine cleaning and upkeep of equipment
