Job summary
Sudel Industries Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical Project Estimator to support all project lifecycle phases. You will provide technical expertise for estimates and tenders, collaborate with project managers, and offer support to ongoing contracts.
Regular site travel to Olympic Dam is required with flexible working arrangements. You will analyze project plans, develop detailed electrical cost estimates, and prepare bids while maintaining accurate documentation for senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Tertiary Education in Engineering or Electrical Trade is required.
- Experience as an electrical estimator in industrial/commercial construction is preferred.
- Strong communication, networking and negotiating skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans and gather information for accurate estimation.
- Develop detailed cost estimates for electrical projects and cost analysis.
- Prepare and submit bids compliant with project specs.
- Obtain quotes and evaluate subcontractor bids.
- Maintain organized records of estimates and reports for management.
