Job summary

Scarlett Contracting in Melbourne seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our industrial construction team. You will prepare cost estimates for large-scale projects by reviewing blueprints, specs, and tender documents.

Take-offs for materials, labour, and equipment, sourcing quotes, and risk mitigation are core duties. You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of electrical estimating experience in large settings.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control wiring.
• Proficiency with estimating software.
• Relevant trade qualification or a degree in Electrical Engineering / Construction Management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
