Job summary

Sigma Design in Kirkland, WA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician II to support engineering, prototyping, testing, and production activities. You will assemble, rework, troubleshoot, and validate PCBA assemblies under limited supervision.

Required: 2–5 years in electronics assembly, experience with SMT and through‑hole soldering, and the ability to read schematics and use standard test equipment. A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years in electronics assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or related technician work.
• Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, and test prototypes, assemblies, and fixtures from engineering drawings and schematics.
• Perform PCBA rework and precision soldering under a microscope.
• Assemble and modify wire harnesses and electromechanical assemblies.
• Execute functional, environmental, and acceptance testing and document results.
• Troubleshoot electronic and assembly-related issues and identify root causes.
