Job summary

AC Solar Warehouse is seeking a capable Electrical Engineer (RPEQ) to join our Cairns team. You’ll deliver high-quality engineering services, provide expert advice, and ensure RPEQ sign-off on reports and drawings while supporting customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Comfortable and proficient with CAD software.
• In depth knowledge of Australian and utility standards.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a busy and dynamic work environment.
• Demonstrated high level of customer service skills and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• NER qualification is not essential but seen as advantageous.
• Experience in the solar PV industry is not essential but seen as advantageous.
• A current driver’s licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality engineering services and provide expert advice.

About the role:

Our engineering team is expanding, and we’re looking for a capable and detail-focusedElectrical Engineer (RPEQ)to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality engineering services, providing expert advice and ensuring accurate and compliant engineering outcomes for our customers. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems and want to grow your career in the renewable energy sector, this role offers an exciting opportunity.

You’ll be responsible for completing engineering work, reviewing and providing RPEQ sign-off on reports, drawings and documentation, and providing timely engineering advice to customers. You’ll work closely with our engineering and sales teams, internal stakeholders, manufacturers and customers to deliver effective solutions, improve engineering processes and identify opportunities to grow our engineering services. Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities are critical to success.
