Job summary

Our client in Perth, Western Australia is seeking experienced Electrical / Power Systems Engineers with strong exposure to power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. The role focuses on hands-on design and commissioning across HV and LV systems.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of 5 years in power systems, along with design, simulation, testing and commissioning, and the ability to prepare SLDs and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in power systems
• Experience in design, simulation studies, testing & commissioning, and/or construction
• Expert-level experience preparing SLDs and electrical schematics

Responsibilities

Our client is currently seeking experienced Electrical / Power Systems Engineers with strong exposure to power generation, transmission, and distribution projects. This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on design and commissioning experience across HV and LV systems.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in power systems
• Background in design, simulation studies, testing & commissioning, and/or construction
• Expert-level experience preparing SLDs and electrical schematics

Design Experience:

• LV & HV Switchboards
• Kiosk Substations & Switchrooms
• Protection Relays & Communication Systems
• VSD & Control Panel Wiring

Site & Testing Experience:

• Transformer testing (IR, PI, DLA, TTR, Winding Resistance, Oil Sampling)
• RMU testing (Injection testing, Ductor, Hipot)
• LV board testing (ACB, insulation resistance, trip testing)

Testing Equipment:

• Megger MIT1020 | CPC100 | CMC356 | 50kV Hipot | 10A Ductor
