Job summary

EVONA is seeking an early-career hardware engineer to help take electronic boards from schematic capture through fabrication and bring-up, gaining hands-on experience across digital, analog and power electronics.

You will collaborate with electrical, RF and mechanical engineers, work with Altium Designer, read schematics, test with lab equipment and contribute to design for manufacture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hardware development across digital, analog and power electronics.
• Understanding of basic analog and digital circuits and PCB manufacturing principles.
• Ability to read schematics and use test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies).
• Clear communication, attention to detail and a willingness to learn within a multidisciplinary team.
• ITAR eligibility to work on export-controlled projects.
• Multilayer PCBs, differential pairs and impedance fundamentals.
• MCU/FPGA interfaces, RF circuits or power electronics.
• PCB soldering and rework, design for manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Assist schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium Designer, including component placement, routing and design rule checks.
• Assist with component selection, schematic symbols, PCB footprints and bills of materials.
• Apply grounding, power distribution and routing practices with guidance from senior engineers.
• Help prepare fabrication and assembly files, incorporating feedback from engineering reviews and manufacturing partners.
• Support prototype assembly, board bring-up, electrical testing and fault finding using laboratory equipment.
• Work with electrical, RF and mechanical engineers to resolve integration issues and document design changes.
