Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to sustain and introduce new capabilities for Defence programs. You will work on 12V-24V battery systems, design to IPC/WHMA‑A‑620, and translate requirements into engineering drawings.

You will collaborate within a technical team, develop artefacts, manage risk, and drive test and evaluation activities from investigation to completion.

Australian citizenship and Baseline security clearance preferred; on-site work in Australia.

Qualifications

• System-level thinking to assess effects of engineering changes on the whole system.
• Ability to develop artefacts (deviation requests, reports, ECPs, investigations).
• Experience with risk and hazard identification/management in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering tasks and develop solutions within the team.
• Work on 12V-24V battery systems, power distribution and wiring to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Create and modify engineering drawings and documentation for reviews.
