MMT Recruitment seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer for a dynamic, itinerant role spanning mining, container handling, and heavy industry. On-site with regional and international travel, you will drive engineering management, safety coordination, and asset reliability across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in heavy industry electricals, WHS/Australian Standards expertise, and the ability to pass MSIC clearance, with strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5+ years in electrical works across heavy industry.
• Expertise in electrical systems for mining and container handling equipment.
• WHS legislation knowledge and Australian Standards for heavy industry.
• Mine site or port operations experience (3+ years) preferred.
• MSIC clearance eligible and able to pass drug/alcohol and police checks.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and coordinate engineering management and safety systems.
• Conduct equipment compliance auditing to Australian/International Standards.
• Inspect and report on critical infrastructure including container cranes.
• Lead improvement projects and small works packages.
• Develop equipment specifications and support asset management.
• Provide onsite engineering support and statutory coverage.
• Create budget estimates and project scoping for initiatives.
• Facilitate risk assessments across client sites.
• Support procurement of mobile and fixed equipment.
