Job summary

WesTrac in South Guildford, Western Australia, is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team on a full-time basis. You will design and deliver safe, certified electrical solutions that support machine modifications, DPOs, workshop tooling and customer requirements across WesTrac.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of CAN Bus systems and AS/ISO/SAE standards, and proven project leadership to deliver commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant industry experience
Experience designing mobile equipment modifications to AS/ISO/SAE standards
Professional Engineer Stage 1 Competency, MIEAust with Engineers Australia

Responsibilities

Design and deliver compliant electrical modifications and engineered solutions
Provide technical guidance on mobile equipment, controls and technology systems
Review engineering designs and documentation for quality and statutory compliance
Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Manage engineering projects and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver customer-focused outcomes
