Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its Queensland Buildings group. You will contribute to electrical design across diverse projects such as aviation, commercial, data centres, and major event infrastructure, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, integrated solutions.

You will work hands-on on projects while building technical capability, with opportunities to progress into senior delivery roles and lead portions of electrical designs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical design in buildings/consulting environments.
• Projects in the $20M–$50M range experience.
• Design delivery, coordination and client interaction experience.
• Strong communication in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive approach with ownership and delivery focus.
• AGSVA Baseline clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering advice and designs for medium to large scale projects.
• Support senior engineers to drive outcomes from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated design solutions.
• Support project coordination, delivery and reporting to ensure quality outcomes.
• Build and maintain client relationships through clear communication.
• Grow into senior delivery roles and lead portions of electrical designs.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-energy team culture.
