AGL Energy in Melbourne is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Renewables Engineering division. You will provide asset management and reliability analysis to ensure performance, asset risks and regulatory requirements are identified and managed across our renewable assets, notably battery storage sites.

The role can be based in Newcastle, Sydney or Melbourne, and involves asset investigations, EPC contract interactions, and liaison with regulators to support a safe, reliable energy future.

Formación

• Tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered Professional Engineer or working towards chartership.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of Asset Management Principles.
• Technical experience with power generation assets (renewables).

Responsabilidades

• Assess performance of assets, address technical issues and deliver solutions.
• Lead asset investigations including Root Cause Analysis.
• Ensure compliance with HSE programs.
• Maintain relationships with Regulatory Agencies in the NEM.
• Support EPC contract negotiations and project reporting.
