AGL Energy seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Renewables Engineering team, emphasizing battery energy storage systems and asset reliability across our renewable assets. You will assess asset performance, lead investigations, ensure HSE compliance, and coordinate with regulators and EPC contractors across Newcastle, Sydney or Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered Professional Engineer or working towards chartership.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of Asset Management Principles.
• Technical experience with power generation assets (renewables preferred).

Responsabilités

• Assess performance of assets and address technical issues with stakeholders.
• Lead asset-related investigations (Root Cause Analysis).
• Ensure compliance with HSE programs and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with Regulatory Agencies for NEM responses.
• Support projects with contractor liaison, EPC contract negotiations.
