Job summary

NES Fircroft, partnered with an innovative electrical engineering business, is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer for the Gold Coast/Southern Brisbane region. You will engage across feasibility, design, site inspections and commissioning, collaborating with clients across varied industries to deliver reliable and innovative outcomes.

You will contribute to design calculations, documentation and project delivery while upholding safety and quality standards; the role supports hybrid working

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or approved equivalent.
• Practical experience with electrical system modelling and CAD software.
• Demonstrated performance in a design role which has resulted in delivering reliable, competent design.
• 2+ years professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise junior engineers and designers/drafters as needed.
• Prepare and review design calculations, reports, models, documentation and other deliverables.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Provide feedback to management or senior engineers on potential improvements while complying with processes.
• Partake in estimating budgets, schedules and other project documents for approvals by PMs or Senior Engineers.
• Ensure a safe, positive working environment at all times.

Junior Electrical Engineer – Gold Coast/Southern Brisbane

In this opportunity, you’ll have the chance to work on a range of different projects and be a part of a supportive and diverse team.

About the Role

With an exciting pipeline of projects over the next 12 months, you’ll be joining a busy, productive, and free-flowing team. Within this role, you’ll be liaising with several clients which are across a range of different industries, which will allow participation across several key project stages; feasibility studies, design, site inspections, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• As and when necessary, you will be required to supervise junior engineers and designers/drafters


• Prepare and review design calculations, reports, models, documentation, and other engineering deliverables


• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and further external stakeholders


• Always comply with existing engineering processes and provide feedback to management or senior engineers on potential improvements


• Partake in estimating budgets, schedules, and various other project documents for approval from PMs or Senior Engineers


• Ensure a safe, positive working environment always.
