Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in electrical engineering or contracting environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, switchboards, and distribution networks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and supervise electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations and technical documentation.
• Select and determine arrangement of circuits, transformers, switchboards, protection systems and cabling layouts.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, Australian Standards, codes and project specifications.
• Plan and manage resources, materials and installation schedules for electrical works.
• Conduct fault finding, system analysis and provide technical engineering solutions on site.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with project managers, electricians, contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure project delivery.
• Support project delivery across commercial fit-outs, industrial installations and switchboard upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and supervise electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, distribution and utilisation

Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations and technical documentation

Select and determine arrangement of circuits, transformers, switchboards, protection systems and cabling layouts

Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment

Interpret engineering drawings, Australian Standards, codes and project specifications

Plan and manage resources, materials and installation schedules for electrical works
