Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Recognition as CPEng with Engineers Australia (incl. RPEQ) is desirable.
• Experience in engineering practices – Requirements Definition, Management, Analysis, Design, and Verification & Validation.
• Experience representing Engineering professional services to internal and external customers.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience (for those holding a University Degree).
• Knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business with ability to improve daily work.
• Experience in product configuration control.
• Availability for travel when required.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.

• Conduct systems analysis to derive function, performance, and interface requirements that meet electrical safety parameters.
• Engage in System Design activities, including trade studies, to ensure design artefacts are compatible with baselined product and consistent across subsystems.
• Perform technical risk analysis to support hazard logs, safety case arguments, and risk-mitigation actions.
• Ensure assigned electrical systems and subsystems are developed and implemented according to standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver systems integration and mission support solutions.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work alongside Engineering Authorities, liaise with stakeholders, conduct engineering assessments, and support the approval of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, and professional development sufficient to attain recognition as CPEng with Engineers Australia (inclusive of RPEQ recognition).
• Experience in Engineering practices – Requirements Definition, Management, Analysis, Design, and Verification & Validation.
• Experience representing Engineering professional services to internal and external customers.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience (for those holding a University Degree).
• Practical to substantial knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business, with the ability to make enhancements and leverage knowledge in daily work.
• Experience in product configuration control.
• Availability for travel when required.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
