Job summary

ep group is seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to join our CBD Melbourne office on a 6 month contract with potential extension. The role focuses on electrical drafting and design using AutoCAD, with hybrid work (2 days in office, 3 days WFH) and start from early November.

The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical drawings, power estimations, cable length calculations, AS/NZS standards, and large infrastructure projects. Must own AutoCAD 2024.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical drafting and design.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience producing electrical drawings and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Experience with power estimations.
• Calculating cable lengths.
• Understanding of AS/NZS standards.
• Experience on large engineering/infrastructure projects.
• Must have your own AutoCAD 2024 licence and hardware.

Electrical Draftsperson - AutoCAD - Full time - 6 Month Contract

We are currently seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to join a large international company based in a CBD office, offering hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days WFH).

This is an initial 6-month contract, with a potential to extend, and an anticipated start from early November.

Key requirements:

• Experience in electrical drafting and design
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience producing electrical drawings and documentation
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Experience with power Estimations
• Calculating Cable lengths
• Great communicator
• Understanding of AS/NZ Standards
• Experience working on large engineering/infrastructure projects highly regarded
• Must have your own AutoCAD 2024 licence and hardware.

• Pay rate: $60–$70 per hour, depending on experience
