Qualifications

• Requires a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification.
• 3-5 years of design/engineering experience in electrical distribution.
• Experience with AS3000 Private Wiring standards and SIRs.
• Capable of managing a project portfolio and understanding client requirements.

• Highly organised and collaborative.

About the Role

As an Electrical Design Engineer at Plan B Services, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical designs and technical solutions for major land development and infrastructure projects. This position combines hands-on design work, teamwork, and client engagement to ensure our projects meet technical, safety, and compliance requirements. You will work closely with the Design Supervisor and a collaborative engineering team supporting our wider group.

Our Projects Include:

Large-scale residential, commercial, and industrial subdivisions.

Embedded networks and private community developments.

High-value project negotiations, consultancy, and delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Hold a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification

3-5 years of Design/Engineering experience in electrical distribution

Experience with AS3000 Private Wiring standards and SIRs

Capable of managing a project portfolio and understanding client requirements effectively

Exceptional communication skills, self-driven, and a strong team player

Highly organised, self-driven, and collaborative.

Valued experience or knowledge in:

Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks

New Residential Communities and the Land DevelopmentIndustry

Private retirement living communities

AutoCAD experience (preferable)

Maintain a valid Victorian driver’s licence or its Australian equivalent
