Job summary

Hancock Iron Ore is seeking a Coordinator Electrical to join the Processing Plant team on a 14/14 day/night FIFO roster from Perth to the Roy Hill Mine. You will support electrical maintenance across the Processing Plant, coordinate materials, coach crews and drive safe execution of tasks.

You will act as the field point of contact for maintenance issues, manage pre-starts, toolbox talks and risk-based work methods in line with HSES requirements, with SAP and DigiLEAN reporting prominent in

Qualifications

• WA A Grade Electrical Licence required.
• Valid Australian C Class Manual Driver’s Licence required.
• Strong understanding of electrical maintenance activities in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Previous supervisory or coordination experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support electrical maintainers to complete daily work safely and efficiently
• Provide field support to crews, including guidance, coaching, parts coordination and work prioritisation
• Act as the first point of contact for maintenance crew escalations and support issue resolution in the field
• Coordinate breakdowns, planned maintenance, unplanned works and break-in tasks
• Provide supervisory relief as required
• Lead and support crew pre-starts, toolbox meetings, written updates and face-to-face communications
• Assist in the development and execution of risk-based activities and work method statements in line with HSES requirements
• Maintain and update SAP, DigiLEAN and other reporting systems as required
• Report incidents, injuries and near misses promptly, and ensure hazards are identified and managed
