Job summary

WeBuild seeks an experienced electrical project lead to oversee installation, testing and commissioning on construction sites. You will supervise electrical teams, ensure safety compliance and coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to meet schedules and specifications.

You will drive quality, document control and on-time delivery while maintaining strong stakeholder communication and a proactive, solutions-driven approach on every project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with electrical installations, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Strong project management capabilities in contracting environments.
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team on site.
• Solid understanding of planning and management in construction.

Responsibilities

• Support EM Engineers and Civil Construction Managers in operations and task execution.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in site activities and daily operations.
• Collaborate with other trade surveyors to collect quantities and measurements.
• Maintain accurate field notes and documentation.
• Communicate with EM Site Engineers and subcontractor staff regularly.
• Ensure crews comply with FGJV safety guidelines and maintain safety records.
• Participate in review meetings to monitor project progress.
• Perform site safety audits, inspections and create safety/logistics plans.
• Ensure paperwork is completed and submitted properly.
• Supervise interfaces between EM Subcontractor and FGJV Construction & Plant teams.
• Maintain databases to support site activities and performance tracking.
• Coordinate with area engineering teams to meet specs and schedules.
• Monitor site operations for efficient use of manpower, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise electrical installations for compliance with specs and safety.
