WeBuild is seeking experienced site engineers to lead QA implementation, site documentation, safety risk assessments, and coordination across design, procurement and site teams. The role emphasizes developing programs, managing subcontractor reviews, and mentoring graduate engineers.

You will drive construction methodologies, look-ahead planning, and ensure HSE compliance, with a focus on proactive problem solving and collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA implementation on construction sites.
• Ability to develop construction documentation.
• Experience in safety risk assessments.

Responsabilités

• Ensure QA is implemented at the work site; assist Site Engineer with QA understanding and implementation with the supervisor.
• Develop construction documentation for work area (CAP, WPA, CMS).
• Develop and carry out safety risk assessments with the site team.
• Review subcontractor IPC claims.
• Mentor the engineering team to enhance technical knowledge.
• Review design packages during development with technical/DJV.
• Develop 6–12 month look-ahead programs for planning and procurement.
• Coordinate the design with the technical team for site use.
• Develop project program (Initial + 6WLA).
• Assist with administering subcontract conditions on site.
• Assist with reviewing subcontractor claims in their work area.
• Assist with developing SOWs with supervisors/superintendent.
• Provide technical review of subcontract packages for procurement.
• Assist with remedial action and close out of NCRs with QA.
• Ensure the project site has all required HSE documentation and approvals.
• Coordinate site support teams with the site construction team.
• Procurement of materials related to their direct work area per the design drawings.
• Ensure tunnel procedures are followed by the supervisor and site team.
• Ensure permits to tunnel are up to date and present on site.
• Develop detailed programmes for day-to-day activities, look-ahead programme and daily changes, including resources and deliveries.
• Develop better methods to deliver the project works, including improved construction methodologies and material selection.
• Review shift report data to identify improvements to methods and recurring delays.
• Monitor progress and review delay allowance status.
• Coordinate resources to progress works with other sections.
• Track off-site procurement items against the programme.
• Contribute to resource application to generate a target program ahead of contracted completion.
• Communicate the programme to all relevant internal parties.
• Oversee the tracking of off-site procurement items against the programme.
• Develop a One Team culture to integrate site teams with wider project teams.
• Coordinate and ensure Graduates and Site Engineers understand expectations with regular feedback.
• Lead development of Graduates and Site Engineers to address development needs of the team.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and external parties per project ethics guidelines.
