Job summary

RSGx Engineering is seeking two Electrical Completions Engineers to lead QA close-out of electrical systems and hand them over to commissioning on major energy projects in far North Queensland, 2:1 roster. You will verify conformance to approved designs, manage QA records, and ensure complete, documented systems ready for energisation.

Essential: experience in QA close-out for electrical works (ITPs, hold points, NCRs) and electrical engineering or trade qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance for electrical works, including ITPs, hold points, non-conformance management and QA close-out.
• Experience handing over electrical systems to commissioning on rail, energy or similar major projects.
• Electrical engineering or electrical trade qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline, able to manage multiple close-out items to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA close-out of electrical systems and prepare handover to commissioning.
• Review installed electrical works against drawings, diagrams, schedules and specs for completeness.
• Manage QA documentation (ITPs, hold points, NCRs, punch lists) to achieve closure.
• Compile completion and handover packs with as-built info, test records and certificats.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, testing and client reps to resolve items and sequence handover.
• Identify defects and completion risks and escalate delays.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installed works and readiness for energisation and testing.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, regulatory requirements and project QA system.
