Job summary

RSGx Engineering seeks two Electrical Completions Engineers to lead QA close-out of electrical systems on major energy projects in far North Queensland. You will verify installations meet approved designs, close QA records and ensure documentation is complete and ready for commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA close-out for electrical systems in building services, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Proven ability to manage ITPs, hold and witness points, NCRs and punch lists.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline for handover to commissioning.
• Experience handing over electrical systems to commissioning on major energy projects.
• Advantageous: experience with Hexagon software.

Responsibilities

• Review installed electrical works against drawings, diagrams, schedules and specs to verify completeness.
• Manage QA documentation for electrical works, including ITPs, hold points and NCRs.
• Compile completion and handover packs with as-built information and test records.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning and client reps to resolve items and sequence handover.
• Identify defects and completion risks, escalating potential delays to handover.
• Conduct site inspections to verify readiness for energisation and testing.
• Ensure QA close-out complies with Australian Standards and project requirements.
