Job summary

Ayme Staffing are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit multiple experienced Electrical Service and Commissioning Technicians across Sydney. These hand-on, site-based positions may involve travel between customer sites and on-call rosters.

Successful candidates will have NSW electrical licence, strong fault-finding skills, and be able to read drawings. A company vehicle is provided and ongoing training is available.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence required.
• White Card where required.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Commitment to WHS and electrical safety.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently or in a technical team.
• Willingness to travel and work extra hours.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, testing, servicing and maintaining electrical equipment.
• Commissioning UPS and STS systems.
• Testing large LV switchboards and switchgear.
• Preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Attending service calls and diagnosing faults.
• Panel testing and fault finding.
• Primary and secondary injection testing.
• Flash testing and protection device testing.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing.
• Work around energised equipment.
• Complete service, commissioning and test documentation.
• Liaise with customers, contractors, project teams and specialists.
