Job summary

Airswift in Perth is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Specialist on a full-time, 12-month contract. You will lead commissioning activities across complex facilities, ensuring safety, compliance and effective project delivery while collaborating with a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commissioning or electrical project delivery in energy or industrial sectors, holds a WA Electrical Licence, and can work on site in Perth for the contract duration.

Qualifications

10+ years in commissioning, electrical or project delivery in energy, resources or industrial sectors.
Current WA Electrical Licence.
Strong knowledge of HV/LV switching, protection systems and commissioning practices.
Experience with ABB switchgear is highly regarded.
Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to safety, quality and project delivery excellence.
Willingness to attend site and be Perth-based for the contract duration.
Eligible to work in Australia without restrictions.

Responsibilities

Promote and maintain a strong commissioning safety culture across all activities.
Ensure supervisors understand scope, safe practices, and key execution issues.
Develop, implement and maintain commissioning completion and close-out docs.
Identify, procure and ensure availability of commissioning spares.
Provide direction on priorities, integrity requirements and schedule progress.
Verify commissioning activities are completed per procedures.
Support project close-out and validation of deliverables.
Ensure handover processes are followed.
