Job summary

Mission Critical Recruitment is seeking Electrical Commissioning Engineers to join Sydney-based data centre projects. You will oversee and execute full life-cycle commissioning within high-end data centre environments.

This role requires electrical qualification, strong communication, and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Sponsorship is not offered; Australian working rights are required. Salary guide 130k–150k AUD + super + bonus.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified (trade or tertiary).
• Data Centre experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent documentation and strong communicator.
• Able to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Full working rights in Australia; no sponsorship offered.

MCR are recruiting Electrical Commissioning Engineers to work on large, technically complex data centre commissioning projects in Sydney.

You will oversee and run large scale commissioning programs in their entirety within Data Centre environments.

The nature of this role is to provide engineering and technical support to plan, schedule, coordinate and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical data centre facilities. You will be involved in all stages of commissioning, from early design, managing commissioning scripts, witness testing and logistics.

Requirements:

• Electrically qualified (trade or tertiary)
• Data Centre experience preferred but not essential
• Excellent documentational skills, strong communicator and technically minded.
• Must know how to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Full working rights in Australia, unfortunately sponsorship is not on offer for this role.
