Job summary

HR Partners seeks an Electrical Capability Coordinator on a 12-month contract on the Gold Coast. The role leads technical capability, training, and competency frameworks across civil electrical, ITS&E, and road operations, stepping off the tools to drive improvements.

You will coach apprentices and staff, maintain training standards, and support capability growth within the Electrical Training Centre, including succession planning.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment required or equivalent.
• Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Mechanic).
• Experience delivering electrical safety training in civil construction or maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Technical Training: oversee capability and competency programs for civil electrical and ITS&E operations.
• Maintain Capability Standards: keep training plans, assessments, and learning resources current.
• Deliver & Support Learning: facilitate civil electrical training and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor & Guide: coach apprentices, trainees, supervisors and project managers.
