Job summary

Capture Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Assembler based in Melbourne's Western Suburbs for a day shift, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start and potential permanency. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, assembling products, using hand and power tools, and operating a forklift.

You will help maintain safe, clean working conditions and support warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid forklift licence (essential).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (essential).
• Mechanical aptitude; trade training in mechanical processes desirable.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience using overhead crane (advantage).
• Proven ability to work with and meet KPI's.
• Basic computer capability across Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Pick & prepare components from the warehouse for assembly.
• Assemble products per drawings, procedures & job instructions.
• Read & interpret industrial drawings for assembly of industrial fans.
• Use hand & power tools.
• Forklift driving.
• Manual handling tasks.
• Carry out regular maintenance on assembly line tools & report defects.
• Assist with warehouse duties as required, including non-routine tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized & safe equipment, machinery & work areas.

Capture Recruitment is seeking a Electrical Assembler for a position based in the Western Suburbs on Day shift for those with demonstrated experience. This is an ongoing role with an immediate start and a view to permanency for the right candidate.

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift,7:00am to 3:00pm


• Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick& prepare components from the warehouse for assembly


• Assemble products in accordance with technical drawings, procedures & job instructions


• Reading & interpreting industrial drawings for assembly of industrial fans


• Use of hand & power tools


• Forklift driving


• Manual handling tasks


• Carry out regular maintenance on assembly line tools& report defects to the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager


• Assist with warehouse duties as required, including non routine operational tasks


• Maintain clean, organised & safe equipment, machinery & work areas

Requirements:

• Current& valid forklift licence is essential


• Ability to read& interpret technical drawings essential


• Mechanical aptitude, with technical or trade training in mechanical processes considered highly desirable


• Experience using hand & power tools


• Experience using overhead crane advantageous


• Proven ability to work with& meet KPI's


• Basic computer capability across Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Outlook
