Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects Australia (CPP) invites applications for an Electrical Apprentice in Wingfield, SA. The role is based in our workshop, offering on‑the‑job training and rotations across projects with established mentors.

You will learn to build and wire control panels, read schematics, and contribute to high‑voltage infrastructure projects across Australia. You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople, gain exposure to panel building and switchroom assembly, and pursue formal trade

Qualifications

• Pursuing a career as an Electrician with CPP.
• Willingness to learn, take direction and work in a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and high‑quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly and wiring of protection and control panels.
• Learn to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Support manufacture and fit out of kiosks and modular switchrooms.
• Complete cable terminations and inter-panel wiring.
• Assist with switchroom retrofit and upgrade projects.
• Support testing, fault finding and quality assurance activities.
• Maintain workshop safety, housekeeping and quality standards.
