CPP is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our manufacturing division (CPI) based in Wingfield, SA. The four-year Dave Evans Apprenticeship Program offers on-the-job training, site rotations and hands-on experience wiring control panels and modular switchrooms used on major high-voltage projects.
You will learn to read electrical schematics, wire panels, install equipment, and participate in test and commissioning activities while completing your formal trade qualifications.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your electrical trade within a specialised area of the industry. As part of your apprenticeship, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople building and wiring control panels, protection systems and modular switchrooms used on major high-voltage infrastructure projects throughout Australia.
You’ll gain hands‑on experience reading electrical schematics, wiring panels, installing equipment and testing completed assemblies, while completing your formal trade qualifications. As your skills develop, you’ll have the opportunity to gain exposure across both our panel building and switchroom assembly teams, building a strong foundation for a long‑term career in the power and renewable energy sectors.
