Job summary

MEGT is seeking a third- or fourth-year electrical apprentice to join a client site across the Southerland Shire and CBD locations in Sydney. You will assist with electrical installations, maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, working alongside qualified electricians.

You’ll develop practical hands-on skills under supervision, interpret plans and drawings, and maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and on-site professionalism.

Qualifications

• Late stage of 2nd year or 4th year apprenticeship.
• Hold relevant licences and tickets required for the role.
• Experience in service, industrial, and residential electrical environments.
• Mature, reliable, safety-focused with professional on-site conduct.
• Excellent customer service and representation on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installations, maintenance, testing and fault-finding across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Work alongside qualified electricians to develop advanced skills and responsibility.
• Interpret plans, drawings and specifications to complete electrical work safely and accurately.
• Maintain strong safety compliance and follow procedures on all tasks.
