Job summary

Australia Post in Geelong is seeking an Electric Bike Delivery Driver to start early and join a supportive delivery team. You will prepare mail, load deliveries, and perform daily safety checks before delivering to homes and businesses with a focus on safety and reliability.

You’ll work with experienced Rider Mentors, with opportunities for progression into senior delivery or frontline leadership roles within a friendly community team.

Qualifications

• Detail-focused and reliable, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Comfortable meeting licensing and practical assessment requirements (training provided).
• Flexible to support additional hours when needed.
• Able to meet safety requirements, including the role’s safe working load limit (115kgs or less).
• Keen to learn and progress, with development pathways into senior delivery or frontline leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mail and small parcels at the facility before delivery.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks, load deliveries, and carry out reliable deliveries to homes and businesses.
• Deliver for your local community with safety and consistency guiding every step.

About the opportunity

In this role, you’ll start each day early as part of a supportive delivery team, preparing mail and small parcels at the facility before heading out for delivery. You’ll complete daily vehicle safety checks, load your deliveries, and carry out reliable deliveries to homes and businesses, with safety and consistency guiding every step.

You’ll be supported by experienced Rider Mentors who are actively invested in your development, providing hands-on guidance and coaching to help you build confidence, capability and long-term success. This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in doing the job well, values safety, and is motivated to deliver strong outcomes every day.

• Available to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 3.51pm
• Comfortable meeting licensing and practical assessment requirements (training provided).
