Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a delivery rider to start each day early within a supportive delivery team. You will prepare mail and small parcels at the facility, perform daily vehicle safety checks, load deliveries and complete reliable drop-offs to homes and businesses.

You’ll be guided by experienced Rider Mentors focused on your development, helping you build confidence, capability and long-term success in a role that values safety and strong daily outcomes.

Qualifications

• Available to work Monday–Friday, 8:00–3:51.
• Training provided to meet licensing and practical assessment requirements.
• Flexible to support additional hours when needed.
• Detail-focused and reliable handling mail and parcels up to 16 kg.
• Able to meet safety requirements including the safe working load limit (115 kg or less).
• Paths for development into senior delivery or frontline leadership roles.

About the opportunity

In this role, you'll start each day early as part of a supportive delivery team, preparing mail and small parcels at the facility before heading out for delivery. You'll complete daily vehicle safety checks, load your deliveries, and carry out reliable deliveries to homes and businesses, with safety and consistency guiding every step.

You'll be supported by experienced Rider Mentors who are actively invested in your development, providing hands-on guidance and coaching to help you build confidence, capability and long-term success. This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in doing the job well, values safety, and is motivated to deliver strong outcomes every day.

About you

• Available to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 3.51pm
• Comfortable meeting licensing and practical assessment requirements (training provided).
• Flexible to support additional hours when needed.
• Detail-focused and reliable, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Able to meet safety requirements, including the role's safe working load limit (115kgs or less)
• Keen to learn and progress, with development pathways into senior delivery or frontline leadership roles.
