Job summary

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is seeking an experienced ELC Team Leader to mentor educators, drive quality outcomes, and lead high-performing teams at the Palmerston Campus, Darwin. The role supports the ELC Director to deliver excellent learning experiences for children and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with leadership experience in an ELC or long day care setting, and a strong understanding of EYLF, NQF and NQS.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) with relevant certifications.
• Leadership experience in an Early Learning Centre or long day care, with mentoring ability.
• Strong understanding of EYLF, NQF, and NQS and commitment to quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance and operational support within the ELC.
• Collaborate with the ELC Director to deliver high-quality programs and services.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS and Child Safety requirements.
• Foster a collaborative and professional team culture.
