Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking an EL2 Platform Solution Architect for a long-term federal government contract based in ACT. You will lead the architecture, design and implementation of complex platform solutions across cloud, data and enterprise technology domains, ensuring secure, scalable outcomes.

The role requires strong cloud, integration and governance experience with hands-on Azure and AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

7+ years architecture or senior engineering experience, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect.
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure and AWS, including Azure Landing Zones, networking, IAM, security services, monitoring, multi-cloud integration and governance.
Experience leading architecture for large-scale enterprise platforms, CRM and integration solutions (Salesforce, MuleSoft).
Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps and automation (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CI/CD pipelines).
Experience designing internal developer platforms, reusable engineering patterns, self-service capabilities, Kubernetes and cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design and implementation of complex platform solutions across cloud, integration, data and enterprise technology domains.
Deliver secure, scalable and business-aligned solutions meeting architecture, technology and cyber security requirements.
Develop architecture artefacts, technical designs, standards and reference implementations.
Collaborate with business, architecture, security and engineering stakeholders to define requirements and deliver practical technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership across cloud platforms, IAM, security, governance and platform engineering practices.
Drive IaC, automation, DevOps and secure software delivery capabilities.
Provide technical oversight for complex architectural and delivery issues while managing risks and dependencies.
Lead technical workshops, design reviews, governance activities and stakeholder engagement forums.
Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and direction throughout the solution lifecycle.
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships and represent the agency in relevant forums.
