Job summary

National Disability Insurance Agency in Melbourne seeks a skilled APS6 Salesforce Developer to join the Digital team within the Scheme CRM Platforms Branch. You will contribute to advanced Salesforce implementations using Vlocity, Apex, LWC and Omniscripts.

Responsibilities include building REST API integrations, working with Source Control (GitLab/GitHub), and collaborating with Jira/DevOps practices to deliver accessible, scalable ICT solutions for NDIA customers.

Qualifications

• 1.3-5 Years of Hands-on Experience in Salesforce Vlocity platform using Apex, LWC, Omniscripts, Flexcards, Integration procedures and DataRaptors.
• Experience with OOP, frameworks & design patterns.
• Experience with Source Control tools (GitLab) & package-based development, Atlassian Jira, VSCode and DevOps practices.
• Experience in building and working with integration (e.g., REST APIs, Platform Events).
• Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud implementations and familiar with Governor limits.
• Comfortable with accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development.

The National Disability Insurance Agency, (NDIA) is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions to improve the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The NDIA seeks a Salesforce developer to join the Digital team within the Scheme CRM Platforms Branch.

Key duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Establishment and development of AI development capabilities utilising Claude Code in Salesforce development
• Undertake work in REST APIs services
• Undertake work with Source Control tools (e.g. Gitlab, Bitbucket, GitHub) from a Claude Code context.
• Support work with Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket and Agile development tool sets.
