Job summary

Peoplebank, part of RGF Staffing ANZ, is seeking an EL1 Mobile Developer for a long-term contract to work on government mobile apps based at the ACT office. The role focuses on React Native with TypeScript, Expo modules, and native bridging using Kotlin/Java/Swift/Obj-C.

You will collaborate with QA and business stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver secure, accessible solutions. The successful candidate will implement REST/GraphQL integrations, contribute to test coverage, and help

Qualifications

Extensive mobile app development for Android and iOS using React Native (TypeScript).
Experience bridging React Native to native layers via Kotlin/Java/Swift/Obj-C, ideally with Expo modules.
Proven ability to maintain quality in large codebases and to test effectively.
Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 and mobile accessibility guidelines.

Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy and support mobile applications and integrations.
Ensure solutions align with architectural principles and are well documented.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver outcomes and participate in agile delivery.
Contribute to code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
